The progression of Romans Chapter One is clear, paganism leads to hedonism, hedonism leads to barbarism. Sadly, American cities have become a living testament to Romans one. One recent example of this out of San Francisco illustrates the total decline of American culture. A nation that turns its back on God will be “given over.” While Romans teaches the universal sinfulness and guilt of man, it is also teaches the universal hope of the Gospel.
